Sochi will be the home for the world's longest pedestrian suspension bridge. 440 meters long bridge in the new constructed Extreme Park on the road to the mountain resort Krasnaya Polyana will span over the gorge of Mzima River. Besides the bridge the Extreme Park will include a giant swing, two attractions named "Flying fox", restaurant, bar and parking for 300 cars. The entertainment complex is planned to be commissioned at the end of this year. Attractions like this are already successfully operating in Germany, France, China, Australia and Singapore.

According to information agency Interfax, on December 22 the vice president of "Tashir Group" Vitaly Efimkin announced, that the company planned to put into operation 11 buildings with total area 600 thousand square meters in 2012. As Efimkin said, 9 of 11 buildings will be shopping and entertainment centers "RIO", 2 of them in Moscow and 7 in other regions of Russia. Another two projects, which planned to be opened in 2011 are the 70 thousand square meters multifunctional recreation complex in "Moscow City" and the "Yaroslavl" hotel with total area of 18 thousand square meters. . According to Efimkin, "Tashir Group" in future may continue to open oceanariums in Russia. It is very successful project, as during the first month more than 250 thousand people attracted the first Russian oceanarium. . "Tashir Group" was founded in 1999. It is development and retailing company and to date manages more than 850 thousand square meters commercial real estate. It should be noted, that the company's turnover for 2011 will be US$ 2.8 billion, while in 2010 it amounted to US$ 1.725 billion.

According to lenta.ru, Tashir Group opened US$ 120 million shopping and entertainment complex RIO in Yaroslavl. With 70 thousand square meter total area, complex is situated on Tutaevsky road between regions Bragino and Kirovsky. This is the company's sixteenth shopping and entertainment complex, and Tashir Group planned to open another two in Saint Petersburg and Vologda. The complex includes a shopping gallery, a grocery hypermarket, Sportmaster specialized shop, 4-hall cinema, sport and entertainment centers, bowling, billiards, restaurants, 800 parking lots, etc. Tashir Group, one of the largest real estate holdings in Russia, was founded by Samvel Karapetyan in 1999. The Group builds shopping centers, office and residential complexes, warehouses, hotels in Moscow and in other regions. Up to 2011 the company has already built more than 60 commercial propeties with total area 1,2 million square meters. It should be also noted, that RBK's journal June issue included the raiting of the largest developers in Russia. The second place took Tashir Group with US$ 1.73 billion turnover. RBK's rating was based on company's figures, analysts' estimates, as well as their own data.
