The Company, previously Yerevan State United Planning Institute, was established at 1968 as a branch of the Saratov homonymous Institute. At 1973 it became an independent institute as a part of the USSR electronic industry association "Soyuzelektronprojekt".
During more than 40 years of existence the Company, having more than 500 employees, realized complex project and follow-on over 100 new and renewed industrial organizations, residential, social buildings, power-producing, rural, health-care and other public objects in all republics of the former USSR, including Moscow, Kiev, Baku, Tiflis, Tashkent, Dushanbe, Alma-Ata, Bishkek and many other cities, as well as in Armenia, in the number of which are "NIITIM", "Neutron", "Masiv", "Neuron" in Yerevan, "Sirius" in Abovyan, "Dipol" in Kamo, "Rastr" in Echmiadzin and a lot of other objects.
The Company was called Yerevan State Planning Institute (YSPI) of RA Ministry of Industry and Trade in 1991-1998. In that period the Company mainly developed projects for Armenia, especially:
The construction of last two had been funded by the World Bank.
In 1988 the Institute was renamed "Electronproject" Close Joint Stock Company. Starting from 1996 the Company actively participated in the competitions to perform planning works organized by the different projects of the World Bank and mainly is doing the works, which has won in those competitions.
By the project of disaster area - reconstruction and expansion of Dilijan "Impulse" electrotechnical factory and Stepanavan "Ardkap" communication equipment factory.
By the project of Social investments fund - planning of schools in several villages and regions of republic, planning of districts' water supply and sewerage for more than 10 villages and towns.
The office for implementation of health care projects - from 2000 to the present time the company does projects for the Centers of Health Primary Preservation (Dispensaries) at more than 30 residential areas, which have already been put into operation.
