It sounds at best far-fetched and at worst frightening, at least at first, but this unique water-based energy station is already under construction and is designed to (safely) generate power and fresh water to over 200,000 people. The Akademik Lomonosov is being built at a submarine construction facility and is set to launch before 2020. While it is set to be stationed offshore, it opens up a new world of possibilities for fueling remote settlements, temporary outposts, research stations or floating cities. The vessel will produce an impressive 70 megawatts of electricity - more than enough to support a mid-sized city. It will also desalinate ocean water to increase regional freshwater supplies. With the world wondering about the fate of the Fukushima plant in Japan, following its fateful impact by a tsunami and subsequent fallout, it seems like a strange time to be working on projects where water meats nuclear power. Still, in this case the uranium is far less enriched and of the same type being used in Russian icebreakers already. The power plant is a project of LLC Baltiysky Zavod Shipbuilding, a St. Petersburg division of United Shipbuilding Corporation (USC).

Today in Moscow officially inaugurated the Armenian Church, which is the largest abroad religious complex of the Armenian Apostolic Church. The ceremony was led by Catholicos of All Armenians Garegin II. In official ceremony participated Armenian President Serj Sargsyan, other special guests from Armenian and Russia. The sanctification ceremony of foundation stone was held on the Trifinova Street in 2004 by the late Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia Alexy II and Catholicos of All Armenians Garegin II. Construction works began in 2006. In 2011 held the sanctification ceremony of the cross. Earlier was reported that the Church construction end planned in 2012. The architect of the religious complex is Artak Gulian. Construction is funded by Armenian and Russian patrons. The whole Cathedral site is about 13.2 thousand square meters; the height of the Cathedral Church is about 50 meters and the dome diameter - 21 meters. The main cross height is 7 meters, and the remaining 5 crosses rise by 4 meters each. The complex includes the Cathedral, the small church of "Holy Cross", diocese head residence, educational, cultural, administrative and reception facilities, a museum and a 200 car underground parking.

Sochi will be the home for the world's longest pedestrian suspension bridge. 440 meters long bridge in the new constructed Extreme Park on the road to the mountain resort Krasnaya Polyana will span over the gorge of Mzima River. Besides the bridge the Extreme Park will include a giant swing, two attractions named "Flying fox", restaurant, bar and parking for 300 cars. The entertainment complex is planned to be commissioned at the end of this year. Attractions like this are already successfully operating in Germany, France, China, Australia and Singapore.

The owner of "Tashir holding" Samvel Karapetyan is ranked the third with his annual revenues received from renting making US$ 720 million. At the end of last year company announced that the total 2012 income of Tashir Group will amount US$ 2.9 billion. Samvel Karapetyan has real estate in Moscow, Saint Petersburg, Reutov, Yaroslavl, Belgorod, Ivanovo, Kaluga, Yalta, Vologda, Tula, Tver, Smolensk, Yerevan, etc. In October 2012 mass media reported that Samvel Karapetyan's Tashir Group may invest US$ 50 million in the construction of shopping malls and exhibition centers in Sochi sea passenger port . The biggest real estate is RIO trade center having 300 thousand square meters territory and Yerevan Plaza with 80 thousand square meters territory both in Moscow. According to Forbes, Samvel Karapetyan earned his first sum in early 90s in Armenia and then moved to Kaluga where he dealt with wholesale and textile production. Currently Tashir is a multi-profile company. Another ethnic Armenian Danil Khachaturov is ranked 25th. He is the owner of Legion Development company. His annual revenue from renting makes US$ 80 million. He elaborates his activity in Moscow. Legion I and Legion III are his largest multi-functional complexes having 130 thousand square meters territory. First he was dealing with the sale and purchase of shares, worked in Slavoil company, participated in the privatization process of Rosgosstrakh becoming the company's director in 2004. He is the co-owner of Rosgosstrakh bank. Gagik Adibekyan, also an Armenian, has been ranked the 26th with his annual revenue from renting making US$ 70 million. He is based in Moscow. Romanov Dvor with 43,500 square meters territory and Vremena Goda with 64 thousnad square meters territory business centers are his biggest real estate property. He is said to be the most mysterious figure in the Moscow market. He is known to have reconstructed Romanov Dvor business center situated in downtown Moscow in 1997, but he activity before it is unknown. He is the owner of RD Group which acquired the 40% of Vremena Goda trade center and according to media outlets, is negotiating over acquiring the rest 60%. The Forbes rating list is topped by Kiyevskaya ploshad (Kiev Square) company the owners of which are Azerbaijanis Zarah Iliyev and God Nisanov. Their annual revenue from renting makes US$1.1 billion. The second is IKEA Mos company the owner of which is ethnic Sweden Ingvar Kamprad and his family.

A Florida home has sold for US$ 47 million, a record for a single-family house in Miami-Dade County, as the high-end real-estate market shows signs of resurgence. The home was originally listed for US$ 60 million and had been on the market since early 2011, when construction was still being completed. The asking price for the Indian Creek Village home was reduced to US$ 52 million this year. The identity of the buyer, a Russian who bought the home in the name of a U.S.-based limited-liability company, couldn't be learned. The Indian Creek estate is on a small gated island, with a private golf course, that is home to a number of celebrity residents, including Julio Iglesias. The 2790 square meters home has glass walls overlooking Biscayne Bay and was designed to feel like a private resort. It was constructed across a series of limestone pavilions divided by waterways with koi ponds, in a style that architect Rene Gonzalez described as "conceptual." There is a central courtyard with landscaped walls, as well as a beach with several tons of sand imported from the Bahamas, chosen over local sand for its pinkish color. The home also has a hidden art vault, a projection 3-D movie theater and a wine cellar accessed with fingerprint identification. The furnishings were custom-designed for the space.
